House Censures Democrats for ‘Anti-Jewish’ Comments, but Never Bat an Eye at What They Have Said About White People – Should Tell You Who’s in Control

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives approved a resolution to formally censure Representative Rashida Tlaib for her remarks that were critical of Israel and supportive of Palestinians during the conflict with Hamas.

The resolution to censure received a tally of 234 in favor and 188 against, with not only Republicans but many Democrats endorsing the measure.

Following the vote to advance the censure resolution, Tlaib argued that her criticism of the Israeli government should not be conflated with antisemitism.

“It is important to separate people and governments. No government is beyond criticism. The idea that criticizing the government of Israel is antisemitic sets a very dangerous precedent, and it’s been used to silence diverse voices speaking up for human rights across our nation,” she said.

This seems to happen a lot when it comes to comments about Israel, but when was the last time someone was censured for something that they said about White people? Especially when it comes to Democrats like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar?

Back in 2019, Tlaib suggested that White cops have no business going anywhere near the facial recognition software used by the Detroit Police. Tlaib said that the Detroit police department should only employ African Americans to use the technology, according to video captured by The Detroit News – a comment that even the city’s Black police chief called “racist” and “insulting.”

No calls from Republicans to censure her, and definitely no calls from Democrats.

We can go to tweets all the way back to 2016 when Tlaib said that White people have privilege simply because they’re White, or in 2019 when she blamed the Jewish kosher grocery store shooting on ‘white supremacy,’ before it was discovered that it was a Black man that perpetrated the shooting.

Imagine if she ever used the term ‘Jewish supremacy’ or that Jews had privilege because of nepotism.

These are just a few of the many examples of anti-White comments made by Tlaib. When it comes to someone like Ilhan Omar, there’s a lot more material to go by.

In 2020, representative Ilhan Omar claimed that ‘White men’ are the ’cause the most death’ in the country and that Americans should be more fearful of White men than anyone else. She also suggested that White men should be surveilled and tracked.

It’s not just Republicans and Democrats in office who react this way when someone criticizes Jews or Israel. It’s the entire media apparatus and every institution.

Look at the reaction to what Nick Cannon or Munroe Bergdorf said about White people vs what they said about Jews or Israel. Look at the repercussions various news personalities face like CNN hosts Rick Sanchez and Marc Lamont Hill for their criticism of Israel vs what they have said about White people.

Additionally, European countries that have suffered the consequences of mass immigration — whether it be grooming gangs, shootings, rapes poorer quality surroundings, or general violence — have decided that the only time they are willing to deport immigrants is when they find out they are ‘antisemitic.’

As the saying goes, to find out who is really in control, find out who you cannot criticize.
