Cases Among Fully Vaccinated in Los Angeles Increase by 20% in Just Weeks

According to a new report from Deadline, in March of 2021 infections among fully vaccinated Los Angeles residents accounted for just 2% of that month’s total.

By June, when Delta became the dominant variant, infections among fully-vaccinated residents had risen to 20% of all identified cases, and by July, the ratio of breakthrough cases increased to 30%, according to local health officials.

According to another recent report from California, several counties with above-average vaccination rates now have higher COVID case rates, while case rates are falling in counties with below-average vaccination rates.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, according to reports, about 75% of people new cases identified in a recent Massachusetts outbreak were fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

In Utah at the beginning of June, just 8 percent of the new cases in the state were breakthrough cases. As of July 26, this number had risen to 20 percent according to state data.

In Virginia, total cases among fully vaccinated individuals resulting in death more than doubled from mid-June through July 29th.

The associate director of the Emory Vaccine Center, Walter A. Orenstein, recently said he was shocked by the data showing vaccinated people shed just as much virus as those who were not vaccinated.

According to a recent New York Times report, genetic analysis of the outbreak showed that people who were vaccinated were transmitting the virus to other vaccinated people. The Times’ source said the data was “deeply disconcerting” and a “canary in the coal mine” for scientists who had seen the data.

In Clark County, NV, (Las Vegas) over 60% of deaths are now reportedly in fully vaccinated individuals.

Other countries around the world that vaccinated a much higher percentage of their population and at a faster rate than the US are experiencing complete vaccine failure on all levels.

Israel, one of the most highly vaccinated countries in the world, is experiencing such an unprecedented surge in cases that American citizens are now advised not to travel to the country.

According to a recent article published by NBC News, Israel now says the Pfizer vaccines – which were just fully approved by the FDA – are down to only 39% efficacy and possibly lower.

In Israel, around 60% of people hospitalized for COVID-19 are fully vaccinated.

The nation of Gibraltar, which achieved a 99% vaccine compliance rate as of June 1, is now seeing an astounding 2500 percent rise in cases, and a surge in hospitalizations and deaths.

A CDC spokesperson recently told NBC News that the agency stopped comprehensively tracking breakthrough cases in May of 2021 in the US, right before a rise in breakthrough cases was expected.

Even among the few states that track these cases closely, officials caution that the data is incomplete because vaccinated people who are infected and asymptomatic are likely largely missing from statistics.
